Nuclear missle voice recording

By tobias and Miguel

Tobias: So Miguel what do you think about the nuclear missiles

Miguel: I think that nuclear missiles is very dangerous because is nuclear

Tobias: okay have a guess which country do you think has the most nuclear missiles

Miguel: Usa they took to much money for nuclear bombs

Tobias: I have to say that you are wrong Usa are second place in the world in nuclear missiles Russia is in first with over 7000 nuclear missiles and an entire nuclear mountain how do you fell now you know that

Miguel: I think Russia is so stupid cause they use to much money for it and Usa um basically need money for survive

tobias: okay very intresting thank you for being with us Miguel

Year Nine Experimental Research Phase Two: Plans

my independent variable is the length of the wings and my dependent variable is the speed (or time) of which it falls I will make sure that it is dropped from the same height every time by using the same 1 meter ruler every time to make sure it is a accurate test. The variables which will be controlled are the mass, weight, shape, height and paper type.

I will control the controlled variables because if I do not it will not be a precise test. I will do this by isolating them and eliminate them one by one, and not changing the. if they cannot be changed it is called confounding variables.

Year Nine Experimental Research Phase One: Research Proposals

Dear RAF

Hi I am Tobias a former student of the London nautical school and a trustworthy, efficient scientist. I have many qualifications and got a A* in all three science topics Physics, Biology and Chemistry. I am committed to this project as ever since I was a young boy I have wanted to do something great to improve this world and I feel that this will satisfy my hunger for that.

My proposal to you is a scientific project which will change our aircraft forever. It involves changing the length of a helicopters wings to make it fly better. As we all know when a helicopter is hit or something goes wrong the driver does not always have enough time to escape the aircraft before it crashes. As the length of the wings increase the time it takes to fall will increase that will give the driver enough time to escape and there for saving a life which could have been lost with our current aircraft technology. I believe that experimenting with the length of the wings will be a better option to investigate because as you can see from the graph below the wing length is the most effective verbal out of all the other variables making this experiment worth it.

unnamed

If this graph did not explain enough here a couple of links to help understand. (These links have been taken from https://www.rose-hulman.edu/~stienstr/me421/DOE2001.htm)

A presentation – In this presentation they investigated how the size or length of the wings effects the time it takes to hit the floor this proves that this experiment has been conducted before which makes it an interesting to investigate.

https://prezi.com/x506d6eluwgz/how-does-the-size-of-the-wings-and-the-type-of-paper-affect/

A video- In this video this guy investigates if the weight effects the rotation of a paper helicopter. In the end we find out that the weight does not effect the paper helicopter. That is why I will not need to be investigating with the weight of a paper helicopter.

Think about my proposal and remember when this project succeeds you will save the life’s of many of your pilots. Thank you for you time.

Yours sincerely Tobias

Hotel Rwanda – essay

In this essay about Hotel Rwanda I shall be talking about  the different filming techniques which are used in Hotel Rwanda and how they work the techniques that I shall talk about in this essay will be camera angles, camera shots, filters, music and sound, camera movement and special effects.

HISTORY

Hotel Rwanda is a movie from 2004 about the civil war in Rwanda after the Belgians left the country and no longer controlled it. When they left the two sides which the Belgians made Hutu (who where defined as darker skin and bigger noses) and Tutsi (who where defined as lighter skin and smaller noses).

CAMERA ANGLES

In the movie Hotel Rwanda the director has used camera angles very effectively to change the atmosphere of a scene by using a wide verity of camera angles to show the emotion of the subject. The director (Terry George) has achieved this by using the following camera angles : HIGH ANGLE, LEVEL ANGEL, LOW ANGLE, OVER THE SHOULDER AND POINT OF VIEW. The only main camera angle which has not been used in this scene is the BIRDS EYE VIEW. So as you can see the director has used a wide range of angles to film the scene and I believe this is because the directors aim is to through you off track and make these things become more surprising and unexpected this also adds a lot of suspension to the atmosphere. All of these angles help to add emotion and feeling to the scene but I think that the best angle combo is a level angle with a close up shot and then a P.O.V (point of view) angle. I think that this is the best combo because when you have a close up shot of Paul’s face you can see the emotion strongly in his face which can show us an image of what he might be looking at. It also adds suspension to what could be in front of him. Then when it changes to P.O.V what Paul is looking at is revealed and we can see why the emotion on Paul’s face was put there. This combo I think really brings us into what it would be like to be there in real life.

CAMERA SHOOTS

surprisingly the director has also used a wide range of camera shoots the following are some of the main shoots which have been used by the director: CLOSE UP, MID SHOT, LONG SHOOT AND A  ESTABLISHING SHOOT. The only main shoot which has not been used is the EXTREME CLOSE-UP. I believe that the director (Terry George) has used a wide range of camera shoots to but you off track again it is the same type of scenario as the camera angles I think this because of the combo which I think is most powerful which is the close up then long shoot I say this because if you take a close up of Paul’s face you can see a emotion which Paul will have on his face and the expression might be miss leading to what is happening because you can not see anything around Paul. So when it changes to a long shot you can see Paul’s surroundings and you can see what is happening.

FILTERS

Filters are a very critical part of movies and filming as they add a lot of atmosphere to the movie for example in the scene where Paul drives down next to the lake it is dark that is a filter effect. If it would not be dark the atmosphere and entire scene would be completely different to what it is with filters because we would be able to see that they would be driving over dead body’s which would take away the suspension from that scene.  Also the filter which has been used is quite a blue colour which gives it a gloomy effect but we can still see the main outline of the established shoot.

MUSIC AND SOUND

Fascinatingly in this movie scene there is a lot of sound effects for example at the beginning of the scene when Paul leaves from getting supply’s the general bangs on the car this adds a anger to the scene and tells us that the general is not happy. Also later on in the scene some mysterious music plays after Paul gets out of the car which adds obviously a mysterious effect but it also adds a effect which tells us that something unnatural has happened where Paul is. For me one of the most important sound effect is a blade being pulled out from a sword case I think this is important because it tells us that a sword has been used for something and with what has happened in the movie so far we know that it is death. That is why it is important to have sound and music in a movie.

CAMERA MOVEMENT

Interestingly there are a lot of camera movements in this scene of hotel Rwanda. But I personally think that the most important camera movement in the scene was when Paul opened the door of the car and fell out. When this happened the camera stayed for a while looking at the door instead of moving with Paul what this does is create tension and suspension because we do not yet know what has happened to Paul. Also the camera with a delay behind Paul makes it seem as if Paul fell faster then he really did which is a good camera movement technique and shows that the director (Terry George) knew what he was doing.

SPECIAL EFFECTS

Hotel Rwanda does not have very many special effects in this scene but there are one or two special effects in the scene. For example when Paul leaves the general and takes the back road to the hotel it is dark and misty these are both under special effects. The mist adds a touch of mystery to the scene like in horror movies in grave yards and the director has used this technique well to cover up all the body’s adding suspense to the scene. Darkness also helps to cover up the body’s scattered over the road and it also is a form of pathetic fallacy which tells us something bad is about to happen because it reflex’s what is happening.

Hotel marrow an da cover

Frame 1

I think that in frame 1 there Is lots of tension in the atmosphere when the driver and Paul are in the car with the general taking about what he calls cockcroches to Paul and then tells him to take the back rout home because it is clear. When they drive out the general bangs on there car which add’s a anger to the scene also Paul face is really tense and locks sad and scared at the same time they to a close up at his face from a level angle to show to everyone his emotions and what he is feeling without saying anything.

Frame 7

I think in frame 7 there is lots of emotion in the frame or scene because the camera shoot is in the point of view mode at a high angle this let’s us see what Paul see’s and that he will be sad angry and scared also the high angle makes Paul seem more powerful then them and shows that the dead body’s have no power any more.

Propoganda speech

I am in support of the renewal of the trident this is due to many reasons which I shall talk about and go through in this speech.

Firstly I would like to talk about Russia. Russia is at the top of the list with over 8000 nukelear warheads and an entire nuclear mountain I mean they want us to disable our nukes and we only have 4 and they have a entire mountain which has the power to easily blow up our entire planet within minutes of a button being pushed I don’t know what you think but I shore know that that is alot more damage then we can do.

And secondly think of it like this the trident is a forcefield around the UK. The renewal of the trident is the on and off switch. If we renew the trident we turn the forcefield on and if we don’t we turn the forcefield off. And if we turn the forcefield off we become a easy target to the world making us weak and giving power to the other country’s.

Is this what you want!!  Do you want no decisions about your contry ?? Do you really want to be a slave to this world ?? Do you want your families and life’s taken from you ??

THEN VOTE YES TO THE RENEWAL OF THE TRIDENT!! (This countries savival depends on you)

Speach for something random

I still belive in this country

that it has potential

so I say do not build the 2.3 billion pound bridge

that is right I am talking about the garden bridge.

This bridge will take the money from this country which we need.

THe money which we could use to save life’s

The money which could improve your life style

So join me and make difference to the world today and to the world in the future

And I promise you your life will be better

The money to make thus world a better place

animal farm charecter representation

in the animal farm by George Orwell there is a hidden meaning and story underneath this story is based around the Russian revelation at march 8, 1917. I think that the following animals and characters represent:

THE PIGS

Napoleon: is Joseph Stalin the second leader of the Soviet Union. Animal farm skips the short rule of Lenin and seems to combine Lenin with the character Old Major and has Napoleon leading the farm from the beginning of the revolution.

Squealer: This pig represents the Russian media which spread Stalin’s version of the truth to the masses.

Snowball: represents Leo Trotsky. Trotsky was one of the original revolutionaries But as Stalin rose to power he became one of Stalin’s biggest enemies and was eventually expelled from the Politburo in 1925 one year after Stalin took control of the nation. In the novel Snowball was exiled from the farm just as Trotsky had been in 1929. But Trotsky was not only exiled in body he was also exiled from the minds of the Russian people His historical role was altered. In Russia he was denounced as a traitor and conspirator and in 1940 a Stalinist agent assassinated him in Mexico City.

Old Major: The father of Animalism. He represents Karl Marx but in some ways also symbolizes the original communist leader Vladimir Lenin. In the book Old major’s skull is displayed in a similar manner to the way Lenin’s remains were displayed to the public The book also says that Old Major had been exhibited at shows under the name Willingdon Beauty but I’m not sure whether or not this is a reference to a real life.

THE HORSES

Boxer: represents the working class. Boxer is portrayed as being a dedicated worker but as possessing a less than average intelligence. His personal motto was “I will work harder!” The novel describes the horses as being the pig’s most faithful disciples and that they absorbed everything that they were told and passed it on to the other animals by simple arguments.

Clover: Boxer’s female counterpart.

Mollie:  Mollie seems to be some sort of representation of Russia’s upper classes. But since Orwell portrays her as a horse the same animal used to represent the working class horses Boxer,Clover and Mollie may simply represent members of the working class that remained faithful to the Czar. In either case Mollie was never really in favour of the revolution. She went along with it but she didn’t actually engage in the fighting. Mollie didn’t mind being a servant to the humans since she was constantly being pampered by them. After the revolution, Mollie begins to miss the beautiful ribbons, fine clothes and sugar cane she used to receive from her human masters. She eventually flees the animal farm to live elsewhere in Willingdon.

THE DOGS

Dogs: represent the military/police. In the beginning of the book they voted against accepting the rats & rabbits as comrades. Shortly after the revolution several pups are stolen from their mothers. Later in the book these pups are now fully grown and fully trained to protect Napoleon from a second potential revolution and help to enforce his decrees.

Jessie, Bluebell, Pincher: are The only three dogs that are mentioned by name They do not have a very active role in the novel All three are mentioned as being present at old major’s meeting but Pincher is never mentioned again.Jesse and Bluebell are the mothers of the ‘pups’ which serve as Napoleon’s bodyguards and I assume Pincher is the father. Jesse and Bluebell also participate in the Battle of the Windmill.
