In this quote which Macbeth speaks i think that Shakespeare is trying to communicate that life is to short and is like a candle which once it burns out can not be lit again. also I think that he is saying that we have  some good moments and then we never have them again. In other words he is saying that life is not worth it so make the most of it.

Dear new teacher

I am Tobias and I enjoy English. Last year  (year 9) I had Mr Waugh as my English teacher. While I was with Mr Waugh my grade raised from 7b to 8b which I was really happy with this year I hope to raise it to a 9b. My spelling and handwriting is not that great and I need to work on it also my grammar and punctuation I belive is basic and I should improve. But on the other hand I enjoy writing story’s and making short films like the ones I have made in the past with Mr Waugh. I think that the badge system which the English department have made is a brilliant idea and has really helped me to increase my grades.
